DisneyLand

Last Thursday morning I woke the kids up and told them to get dressed because we were going to Disneyland. Elliot didn't believe me, Hanna screamed and Malory said "OK". Elliot finally realized that I wasn't joking when Brecke and my mom were telling him that we were really going. When we got there the first thing we did was see the castle and ride Pirates of the Caribbean, its a Carlson tradition. The kids didn't know what to expect, Elliot was really nervous, Hanna was scared for a minute and Malory just took everything in. After that we just kept riding rides and having so much fun.

On Friday Beau, Courtney, Cavin and Sawyer met us at Disneyland. It was so fun to share one of there kid's first with them. The kids took turns going on rides with each other. Cavin and Elliot got to do Jedi Training, they were so excited. They each got to wear robe and use a light saver. During the training all of sudden the stage rose with smoke coming out and Darth Vadar was standing there, Elliot freaked out!! The boys each got to fight either Darth Vadar or Darthmall (i don't know how to spell star wars characters names), they both fought Darthmall because Cavin was afraid of Darth Vadar.

Hanna got a new nickname on the trip "Dare Devil" because she rode all the "big" rides. Her favorite were Space Mountain,California Express, Thunder Mountain.

Malory went on everything also, we were all worried about her on Thunder Mountain but she said that was her favorite ride.

My favorite thing were the fireworks and the roller coaster California express in California adventure. We also watched 2 different parades and the kids reaction to those was great.

The trip was amazing and I'm so glad that I finally did it with my monkeys. My mom and dad came along and help me out a ton, there's no way I would've been able to do this with out them.
