My Grandpa

David Eugene Moench "Gene" 1916 ~ 2008. The earthly sojourn of a most choice man came to a close on Saturday, June 21, 2008. I'm the luckiest girl to have been a part of his life. When I think about my Grandpa Gene I think about how he loved my Grandma and how he worked so hard to have the cabins we had growing up. My favorite thing about Grandpa Gene is his hugs and his cute smile when he looked at me and my children.

Bee's Game

We went to the Bee's Game a few weeks ago with Ashlie T and her son Paxton. It was fun, cold and long. We had to stay till the very end because they were doing fireworks.

Rodeo

Hanna was in a Rodeo for school, she made a horse out of an old sock with buttons for eyes. Each child got to pick an event, Hanna chose the buckin-bronco.

Tea Time

Malory had a great idea to have a tea party with some of her friends, she told Hanna that she could have one too. The girls got really excited and started planning the food and how the table should look. So we made peanut butter and banana sandwich's, homemade Oreo cookies, and strawberries. For the tea the girls got to pick out there favorite kool-aid. It was really fun, all the girls even did cheers at the table with there tea cups!

Mother's Day

My kids spoiled me yesterday for Mother's Day. I love the little gifts they make at school, they make me cry every year. Elliot wrote a book about "My mom is cool". My favorite part is I make the best snicker doodles, I've only made those once, but apparently they are the best. Hanna gave me a sweet poem about fingerprints and it has her hand print on it and her picture, that one made me cry. Malory made me a little pot painted like a watermelon, inside she planted a watermelon seed and colored a flower picture, on the back it says "Your one in a melon mom, thanks for helping me grow." I had a great mother's day, I'm so lucky to have a mom like mine, I've learned so much from her and still do everyday.

My Cub Scout

Elliot started scouts and its so weird, that I have a son old enough to do that. He has read his book every night and has already done 2 projects.

#9

Malory started playing soccer with her friend Macy, and Shandell is the coach. It has been really fun to watch her learn the game and play with the other kids. Malory has been pretty aggressive and has come so close to scoring a goal.
